In St.Austell we are in the perfect location from which to visit most of Cornwall's major attractions. The Eden Project is only a 10 minute drive away as are The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Close by is the picturesque harbour of Charlestown with it's Tall Ships. Mevagissey is a working fishing village is just 5 miles from us and has many fine restaurants from which to choose from.

The Elms Guest house is perfectly located in Mid-Cornwall to visit most of Cornwall's major attractions. St.Austell has a new town with a brand new Cinema and lots of Restaurants to chose from. There are many wonderful Gardens in Cornwall. Local to us are The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and Gardens and Pine Lodge Gardens. Trebah, Trelissick and Glendurgan are about an hour away, they are fantastic gardens and are a must to see.

All are within easy reach of or guest house and are definitely worth a visit

We are located perfectly for the golf enthusiast. There are several fantastic golf courses near to us which include St.Austell, Carlyon Bay, Porthpean and Lanhydrock Golf Clubs and not too far away are Newquay and Perranporth which are a must to play!

The harbour village of Charlestown is close by to us. It is the perfect place to visit for a walk around the harbour and stroll on the beach. You can eat at one of the many restaurants there or just visit one of the pubs for a quiet drink. There are always two or three Tall Sailing Ships to admire in this picturesque historic Georgian fishing harbour. A place not to be missed on your visit to Cornwall.

Fowey is located between Looe and Mevagissey and is not far from The Elms Guest House. There are many many shops, lots of restaurants and several pubs to visit.

Take a stroll down the Esplanade' to enjoy the magnificent scenery around the river, hire a boat ride or just relax on the beach. A great place to visit!

The historic fishing village of Mevagissey is just 7 miles from us and is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy a walk around the harbour to admire the wonderful views of the village, watch the fishermen at work or just relax with an ice cream.

You can pick up the passenger ferry across to Fowey from the lighthouse - a great day out!

Padstow is a great place to visit and is just 30 minutes away from us. Rick Stein has his many sea food restaurants in and around Padstow. Lots of shops to visit and numerous place to eat and drink. Take a walk along the estuary to take in the magnificent views of this part of the Cornish coastline.

Take a passenger ferry from here across to Rock and to visit the many wonderful beaches...
